Because RORE Edge Journal runs entirely on your local device, the following information never leaves your machine and is never accessible to RORE Tech LLC:
We have no servers that receive this data. We have no database that stores it. We have no employees who can access it. This is our strongest privacy guarantee and it is technically enforced, not just promised.
When you purchase a Pro or Lifetime license through our payment processor (currently Gumroad), the following information is collected by Gumroad, not by RORE Tech LLC:
When you activate a license key within the Application, the Application may make a network request to verify the key. This request contains only the license key itself — no trade data, no personal information. We retain purchase records solely to deliver license keys, provide customer support, and prevent license key fraud. We do not sell or share purchase records for marketing purposes.
The AI Review feature transmits trade data to Anthropic, PBC via the Claude API. This only occurs when you explicitly request a coaching report and only after you have provided informed consent.

RORE Tech LLC does not log, store, or retain any data sent to or received from the Claude API. Anthropic processes this data according to their own Privacy Policy at anthropic.com/privacy. You can disable AI Review at any time in Application settings.
The Application does not automatically send crash reports or diagnostic data to RORE Tech LLC. If you experience a technical issue and contact our support team, you may choose to share log files or screenshots voluntarily. We use that information solely to diagnose and resolve your issue.
The Application does not collect usage analytics, telemetry, or behavioral data. We do not track which features you use, how often you open the Application, or how you interact with it.
All Application data is stored locally on your device:
You can delete all locally stored data at any time using "Clear All Data" in the Application, or by uninstalling the Application.

The Application is not directed to or intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Because we do not collect your trade data, most data subject rights are exercised directly by you within the Application — you own and control your data completely.

For locally stored data, security depends on your device's own security measures. We recommend enabling full-disk encryption on your device (FileVault on Mac, BitLocker on Windows) to protect your locally stored trade data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Application at next launch or via roretech.com. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
