By downloading, installing, or using RORE Edge Journal ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and RORE Tech LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), the developer and publisher of RORE Edge Journal.
RORE Edge Journal is a desktop software application that enables users to import, organize, track, and analyze their personal trade transaction data. The Application is designed to run entirely on the User's local device. No trade data, account information, or personal financial information is transmitted to RORE Tech LLC servers at any time, except as described in Section 8 (AI Features) with explicit User consent.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, RORE Tech LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Free Tier: The free tier permits use of the Application subject to usage limitations described in Section 5.
Pro License: A paid Pro license (monthly subscription or lifetime purchase) grants expanded usage rights as described in Section 5, for the duration of your active subscription or in perpetuity for lifetime purchases.
This license does not include the right to:
The Application, including its code, design, branding, logos, and all associated intellectual property, is owned exclusively by RORE Tech LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

License Keys: Pro and Lifetime access is activated by entering a license key obtained through authorized purchase channels (currently roretech.com via Gumroad). License keys are for single-user use only. Sharing, reselling, or distributing license keys is prohibited and will result in key revocation without refund.

You are solely responsible for all trading and investment decisions you make. Past performance data shown in the Application is for informational purposes only and does not guarantee future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
RORE Tech LLC is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial institution. Use of this Application does not create any financial advisory relationship between you and RORE Tech LLC.

The AI Review feature (available to Pro and Lifetime users only) uses the Claude API provided by Anthropic, PBC. Before using AI Review for the first time, you will be asked to provide explicit consent.

Data transmitted to the Claude API is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. RORE Tech LLC does not store, log, or retain any data transmitted to or received from the Claude API. You may revoke your AI consent at any time through Application settings.
You agree not to use the Application to violate any applicable laws, engage in fraudulent activity, attempt to circumvent license key validation or usage limits, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Application.
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RORE TECH LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RORE TECH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION. RORE TECH LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RORE Tech LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Application or violation of these Terms.
RORE Tech LLC may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Application or via roretech.com. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
RORE Tech LLC may terminate or suspend your license at any time if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your use of the Application at any time by uninstalling it. Your locally stored data will remain on your device until you delete it.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Norfolk County, Massachusetts.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and AI Consent Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and RORE Tech LLC regarding the Application.
